Wyndham Hotel Group Offers 2,000 Hotel Packages for Daily Getaways Promotion

PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwire - Apr 19, 2012) - Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company with over 7,200 hotels, today announced that its loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards®, has joined over 20 of America's top travel brands participating in the 2012 U.S. Travel Association Daily Getaways summer promotion, offering consumers travel packages at significantly discounted prices.

Participating in the promotion for the third consecutive year, Wyndham Rewards is offering 2,000 hotel packages in the form of 60 million Wyndham Rewards points that members may redeem at thousands of hotels and resorts across the country. Available exclusively at, the packages will go on sale on April 23 at 1pm EDT, saving travelers anywhere from 15 percent to nearly 50 percent off regular hotel prices and include:

  • One-night stay at a Super 8® hotel for $55
  • Two-night stay at a Days Inn® hotel for $76
  • Two-night stay at a Ramada® hotel for $110
  • Two-night stay at a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® for $143
  • Three-night stay at a Wingate by Wyndham® hotel for $165

Facebook fans of Wyndham Rewards' page will be able to purchase select packages during the presale at noon on April 23.

With a variety of choices for how points may be used, consumers can redeem at thousands of hotels and resorts in a variety of popular tourist destinations including the Hotel Galvez & Spa, A Wyndham Grand Hotel in Galveston, Texas; Ramada Gaslamp Convention Center in San Diego, California; and the Super 8 Savannah in Savannah, Georgia, to name a few.

Created by the U.S. Travel Association and sponsored by American Express, the Daily Getaways promotion runs April 9 through May 11, 2012 and is available exclusively at Travelers can save up to 40 percent on hotels, car rentals, theme park admission and city attraction passes. American Express® Cardmembers save an additional 10 percent off all transactions.

Each day, a special offer from a leading travel brand is unveiled at 1pm EDT on and made available for purchase throughout the promotion period, until the inventory is sold-out. Bids can be placed beginning at 1pm EDT each Monday when a new package is released until bidding is closed that same Friday.

Interested travelers are also able to utilize the calendar feature on the promotion site that allows them to preview upcoming products and set friendly reminders to bid on specific deals when they become available.
