Wyse Demonstrates Market Leading Cloud Client Computing Solutions and Integration With Cisco Virtualization Experience Infrastructure (VXI) at Cisco Live 2011

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 7, 2011) - Wyse Technology, the global leader in cloud client computing, today announced that it will be exhibiting, speaking, and demonstrating its integration of unified communications and virtualization as part of the Cisco Virtualization Experience Infrastructure (VXI) at Cisco Live US at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV from July 10-14. Wyse is a key endpoint partner for the Cisco VXI initiative. In the "post-PC" world, cloud computing initiatives are succeeding by combining unified communications, thin-client and zero-client computing hardware and software, and desktop virtualization -- offering end users the perfect mix of solutions.

The Wyse booth (number 1139) will feature nine stations of live demonstrations of virtual enterprise solutions using the Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS). Together with Wyse reseller partner and Cisco Gold Certified Partner MTM Technologies, the Wyse booth will feature a remote unified communications lab in Boston using enterprise-level integration tools for phone and active directory users. This live, remote demonstration is a real-world representation of IM, video and phone conferences for enterprise and branch operations. Wyse will also showcase how Wyse is the perfect end-user device partner of choice with Citrix, Microsoft and VMware virtualization solutions utilizing Wyse cloud client hardware and software.

In addition, Wyse is releasing a custom version of its popular Wyse PocketCloud remote computing app for Cisco's new Cius ultra-portable mobile collaboration enterprise tablet. The app will be available via the Cisco AppHQ store on July 31st, 2011.

Wyse's Chief Strategy Officer Jeff McNaught will lead a discussion on how the Wyse cloud client computing and virtualization software solutions maximize the benefits of Cisco VXI and deliver ROI to any type of content to any user on any form of end-user device, including Cisco Cius.
