Wyse Showcases Leading Cloud Client Computing Solutions for K-12 Education at ISTE

Fast, Efficient, Scalable, Affordable and Green Alternative to PCs for Students and Educators on Display

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 23, 2011) - Wyse Technology, the global leader in cloud client computing, today announced that it will be demonstrating its cloud client computing solutions at the annual conference of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), one of the world's premier education technology events. Wyse can be found in booth number 2446 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia from June 26-29, 2011.

In particular, Wyse will demonstrate how Microsoft's Windows Multipoint Server 2011 (WMS2011) works in concert with its new Wyse T50, the fastest, most efficient and affordable Linux-based RDP7compatible thin client, as well as the Wyse E01. With such a large demand for cost efficient, scalable education solutions, the Wyse T50 and E01 are the perfect fit.

Also at ISTE, Wyse customer Manchester Essex Regional School District will be presenting a poster session of how this Massachusetts K-12 school district became a model of sustainability and efficiency using Wyse as part of its Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) implementation for its green, state-of-the-art middle and high school. The presentation will demonstrate how school districts can adopt a Green IT strategy using cloud client computing as part of their overall sustainability efforts, whether they are building a new facility or upgrading existing ones.
