Xact Data Discovery Expands Offshore Operations

MISSION, KS--(Marketwired - Dec 16, 2013) - Xact Data Discovery (XDD), a leading international provider of discovery and data management services for law firms, corporations and government agencies, announces the expansion of its offshore operations with a new location now open in Bangalore, India. The facility was added to support XDD's growing electronic discovery business, and in particular its document review offering, which has seen significant growth in the past year.

Bangalore (also called Bengaluru) is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka and is known as the "Silicon Valley of India." The city was selected by XDD as the location of this expansion for its concentration of highly qualified human resources. Three of India's top five law schools are in Bangalore, which is considered to have an overall better quality of life and nicer climate than other Indian metropolitan cities. XDD employs dozens of attorneys to perform client document reviews.

The new facility secured by XDD is the equivalent of "class A" space in the United States. The office is open 24 hours per day and offers optimum security, including ISO 9001 certification. XDD staff in Bangalore will handle legal project management in addition to document review and other aspects of eDiscovery work. In addition to the new office, the company continues to operate its original offshore location in Vijayawada, India. XDD currently employs approximately 75 permanent staff in the two offices.
