Developed and deployed by in-house experts at XDD, the program helps XDD electronic discovery consultants, project managers, production staff and others involved in client service delivery continually expand their knowledge and expertise on the latest technology and industry best practices.

Recognizing the fast-paced and ever-changing e-discovery landscape, XDD leadership began its initiative in fall of 2015 to develop a more formal training and development program. For a company the size of XDD, keeping consultants and other staff educated on the latest rules governing civil procedure, new technologies and improved processes around service delivery is a full-time job. To that end, the company hired respected professional development and change management expert Bill Millican to be its corporate director of training and development. Millican's wide-ranging knowledge, mentoring and leadership experience helped to build the foundation upon which the new program is designed.

The program offers a structured approach to providing professional development for XDD employees. Ongoing educational opportunities include a variety of in-person training sessions, as well as several online and WebEx courses. The sessions are facilitated by Millican along with members of XDD's executive management team and other experts who provide in-depth training on each phase of the company's process for delivering exceptional client service. A formal learning management system is currently in development which will track and manage the courses offered and each employee's progress through the program.
