Xchanging Procurement Services North America Continues Strong Momentum

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Dec 18, 2013) - Xchanging, the business process, procurement and technology services provider, today announced that its procurement arm, Xchanging Procurement Services, currently the third largest procurement services provider globally, will cap a record growth year in North America with five new customer wins throughout Q3 and Q4 alone.

Additionally this year, Xchanging made a major strategic hire, appointing former IBM Global Process Services senior leader, Marie Meliksetian, as its Managing Director, Procurement Services for Xchanging North America. The move has contributed to the company's emergence as a strong player in the North American procurement services market through the aforementioned customer growth, acquisition and strategic partnerships. Further evidence of this is Xchanging's designation by Everest Group as a "PO Star Performer" for the second year in a row and its placement in the Leaders quadrant of Everest's PEAK Matrix for the first time.

Xchanging Procurement Services also expanded into new vertical industries in 2013, winning its first customer in the utility sector, and was able to extend contracts with several notable clients, including its largest in North America.
