Every other product on the Ethernet communicates at 55 Mbps, while Ximeta's chip does 80. Ximeta's network storage devices work exactly like internal hard disks with equivalent read and write speeds. The company's new media products can stream HD-quality movies directly to TVs. The new router can host a secure web site without a computer. The lineup of high performance network-ready PCs integrate speed and shared storage for popular network applications including file sharing, media streaming, and gaming. And, the new surveillance cameras complement the entire product line, allowing the capture of video/audio over the network.

Ximeta NDAS

The company's proprietary Network Direct Attached Storage (NDAS) chip enables direct communication between the device and PCs. This specialized software allows the device to appear as a local drive for each networked machine, creating a direct link instead of as a network drive shared among them. The end result: faster performance when you're transferring files to and from the device.

Ximeta NDAS systems deliver instant, blazing-fast, shared network or extended business and home entertainment storage for capacity hungry applications including video editing and production digital music recording and mixing, digital photography, graphic arts, gaming, machinema, media players, MP3 collections, video libraries, and IP surveillance.
