Xperia™ Voted Favourite Range by Sony Ericsson Fans

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 1, 2010) - A quick poll carried out on the Sony Ericsson Facebook page saw fans voting for the Xperia™ range of mobile phones as their favourite.

The poll was conducted by Sony Ericsson on its global Facebook page and asked its fans which mobile phone range they preferred out of the Xperia™, the Walkman™, the Cybershot™ and the Greenheart™ ranges. The quick-fire survey prompted 1,195 responses from the fans of the Sony Ericsson Facebook page, all sharing their opinions and stories and with 44% of the vote, the Xperia™ range came out the clear winner.

The Sony Ericsson Walkman™ range was voted the second favourite range by the music lovers for its one-touch music button and specialist software for ripping audio tracks, gaining a respectable 27% of the vote.

The Cybershot™ range followed closely behind with 22% of the votes. With their digital camera features and superb picture quality, the Cybershot™ range was voted for by the photography enthusiasts of the Sony Ericsson fan base.

Greenheart™ came in fourth place with 7% of the votes. The Greenheart™ range is popular amongst the environmentally conscious fans, with eco-friendly features including the use of recycled plastics, waterborne paint made by water that has been sourced locally to help reduce CO2 emissions from unnecessary transport and an e-manual to help cut down on paper usage subsequently saving thousands of trees just to name a few.

However the Xperia™ range was voted the fans favourite. Featuring the widely popular X10, X10 mini and X10 mini pro, the Xperia™ phones are Android Smartphones favoured for their sleek designs and impressive technology, combining popular features of all of the ranges previously mentioned and then some. With features that include auto-focus and face-detection for the camera enthusiasts, TrackID™ and media player for the music lovers, as well as additional features such as Mediascape™ and Timescape™, the Xperia™ range comprises of well rounded mobile phones.
