Xradia Strengthens Global Sales & Support for 3D X-Ray Microscope Solutions

New Leadership With 3 Key Hires in Europe, Asia and North America

PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - May 20, 2011) - Xradia Inc., the leading provider of high-resolution 3D X-ray imaging systems, announced today that it has strengthened its global presence with the addition of three talented sales executives in response to growing demand for the company's 3D X-ray microscope (XRM) solutions: Peter Lander for Europe, Steve Neptun for Eastern North America, and Zhaowang Yan for China.

All three sales executives will serve the key technology segments for Xradia: life sciences, materials science, geo materials and semiconductor, leveraging their extensive expertise to bring Xradia's leadership at the cutting edge of 3D X-ray microscopy to research institutions, universities and industrial organizations in their respective regions.

Based in the U.K. as Director of European Sales, Mr. Lander brings 25 years' experience in electron microscopy with a strong background in transmission electron microscopy (TEM) engineering prior to his successful career in sales and senior management. Most recently with JEOL, his comprehensive knowledge of the European market makes him a proven leader for Xradia's organization of sales and service partners in 14 offices that span all of Europe (Western and Eastern, and Scandinavia to the Mediterranean) and Israel.

Mr. Neptun, most recently with FEI and previously with Zeiss Electron Optics, manages the Eastern region of North America, including Canada and the US. Based in Chicago, Mr. Neptun brings over 20 years of experience in electron microscopy and focused ion beam (FIB) Sales and Service to Xradia, with strategic account expertise. Mr. Neptun also has a strong background in the life sciences as well as materials science, geosciences, and semiconductor.

Mr. Yan brings more than 14 years of experience in electron microscopy and FIB sales, most recently with Xradia Southern China channel partner, Yufeng. Mr. Yan built FEI's scanning electron microscope (SEM), TEM and FIB business over a 10-year period throughout China, and also has a strong background in materials science. Based in Shanghai, he is responsible for Xradia channel partners throughout China.
