Xylitol Canada Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 28, 2015) - Xylitol Canada Inc. ("Xylitol Canada", or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:XYL) wishes to announce the resignation of Horst Hueniken as a director of the board. Horst served as a valuable member of the board and the Company would like to thank him for his contributions. Xylitol Canada wishes Horst all the best in his future endeavors.

Xylitol Canada is pleased to announce the appointment today of Muneeb Yusuf to its board of directors. Muneeb's appointment to the board coincides with his upcoming appointment as Vice President, Legal, of Dundee Agricultural Corporation.

Previously, Muneeb was General Counsel, VP Risk of Blue Goose Capital Corp (a Dundee subsidiary), was General Counsel of Essar Steel Algoma Inc., and formerly an attorney at Stikeman Elliott LLP. He holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Masters of Business Administration (finance specialization) from the Schulich School of Business and an Honors Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Toronto. Muneeb has sat on the board of directors of a number of public and private companies and currently sits on the board of directors of Parkinson Society Canada.
