Y-Tel International Completes Funding Agreement for $1.2 Million

MIAMI, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 14, 2005 -- Y-Tel International (OTC BB: YTLI), a provider of telecommunications, VoIP and Wi-Fi services and devices, announced today it has entered into an agreement with Mercatus & Partners, LP to bring more than $1.2 million in funding to the company. Y-Tel CEO John Conroy heralded the deal as a positive step towards the company's planned expansion of its Wi-Fi network.

The funding agreement, signed December 6, 2005, is expected to close within 30 days or sooner from the date of signature.

"We have sought to continuously improve our service offerings in Wi-Fi, particularly with our recent project in Nacogdoches, Texas," Conroy said. "This funding makes it possible to expand our Wi-Fi network and develop new services for current clients."

Conroy said the funding helps Y-Tel follow suit with municipalities like New Orleans and Tempe, Ariz., which both recently announced significant wireless service offerings to their residents. New Orleans is deploying the nation's first municipally owned Wi-Fi network with assistance from Tropos Networks, Inc. and Intel Corp. Tempe, Arizona is deploying a similar 40-mile radius Wi-Fi network using mesh network equipment from Strix Systems.

The joint project between Y-Tel and ISP Dotcom in Nacogdoches represents the first full Wi-Fi network rollout for Y-Tel. Conroy said the additional funding will aid Y-Tel in providing Wi-Fi and VoIP calling solutions to Nacogdoches subscribers.
