Yamaha Motor Corporation Improving Site Content Relevance With Omniture SiteSearch™

OREM, UT--(Marketwire - September 3, 2009) - Omniture, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, today announced that Yamaha Motor Corporation is leveraging Omniture SiteSearch™ to improve the relevance and navigation of its Web site content.

Yamaha Motor Corporation's Web site houses thousands of pages of product content, which include motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, outboard motors, accessories, apparel and more. With such a vast array of inventory, the marketing team was constantly challenged to easily organize and promote this content and deliver relevant search results to each visitor. Yamaha Motor Corporation recently decided to upgrade to Omniture from its previous site search solution to achieve more flexibility with onsite search and to dynamically display search results using analytics-derived metrics such as conversion rates and page views.

Providing relevant search results to guide visitors to the most appropriate information on the site is the Web team's primary focus. While the site is largely vehicle-oriented, the team recognizes the opportunity to better integrate other relevant content into search results, such as related event and news articles or customer support information such as owner manuals.
