Yammer Extends Reach in Companies of All Sizes, Industries and Geographies

Yammer Takes Enterprise Social Networking Mainstream With a Structured Rollout Program and Seamless Integration Into the Workplace

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) - Yammer, Inc., the leader in enterprise social networking, today announced widespread adoption of its enterprise social networking platform. Companies of all sizes, industries and geographies, including Xerox, Southern Company, SUPERVALU, and Heinz in the U.K. recently upgraded to Yammer's premium product to maximize the benefits of enterprise social networking.

Helping fuel adoption is the expansion of Yammer's post-sales consulting organization -- a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Implementation Engineers who work closely with paying customers to accelerate adoption and foster user engagement. Over the past two quarters, Yammer grew this team significantly and appointed Dee Anna McPherson to vice president of customer engagement to lead the organization.

To help companies take full advantage of the benefits of enterprise social networking, Yammer's CSM team has introduced a structured rollout methodology as part of the premium offering. As part of this process, Yammer CSMs partner with customers to identify strategic use cases, develop change management strategies, streamline business processes, integrate Yammer with existing tools and drive engagement. After deployment, the CSMs monitor the health of the network and work with customers to measure their return on investment by using a Total Economic Impact tool developed by Forrester Consulting. Seventeen organizations including Southern Co., SUPERVALU Inc. and 7-Eleven have recently embarked on structured rollouts.
