Yconic and SHOP.CA Announce Partnership Aims to Save at Least $1M for Canadian Students

Back-To-School Deals, Scholarships, Prizes and Giveaways Help StudentAwards Members Save

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 5, 2014) - Yconic, parent company of StudentAwards, and SHOP.CA have announced a partnership that will help Canadian students save more than $1 million during back-to-school shopping. Through scholarships, discounted products and a $25 in-store credit, StudentAwards.com members have exclusive opportunities to save money while shopping for school supplies. A minimum of $5 from every purchase will also be given back to students through scholarships and prizing, to help pay for their education. Through these unique back-to-school offer, Canadian students will save money buying the things they need and can also help other students pay for their education.

To help alleviate the financial stress associated with post-secondary education, StudentAwards' members will have exclusive access to back-to-school offers from SHOP.CA, the fastest growing e-commerce site in North America and amongst the Top 500, according to Internet Retailer 500, 2013 data. Between August 1 and September 30, 2014 students will have the opportunity to access a $25 SHOP.CA credit and a minimum of $10,000 in scholarships.
