Year-to-Date Texas Industrial Project Completions Total $7.8 Billion, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - Jun 17, 2011) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- So far this year, Industrial Info has verified more than 420 industrial project completions in the Southwest region of the U.S., which includes the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. More than 260 of these projects, with a combined total investment value (TIV) of $7.8 billion were completed in Texas.

By far the largest project completed in the Lone Star State so far in 2011 is Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) (Dallas, Texas) completion of the 28-mile Greenline commuter rail project. The 28-mile rail line runs from southeast Dallas to the northwestern suburb of Carrollton.
