Yellow Pages Group Launches Taste Your Neighbourhood Event

Free guided neighbourhood tours to promote the small businesses behind local cuisine

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 11, 2013) - In the spirit of its long-term commitment to promoting the growth and success of small businesses, Yellow Pages Group will kick off the first edition of Taste Your Neighbourhood in Montréal on September 21, in collaboration with the Montréal Urban Ecology Centre (MUEC). Eleven free guided walking tours lasting 90 minutes each, will take people through the streets of various Montreal neighbourhoods to discover what local restaurants, cafés and breweries are offering.

Led by knowledgeable guides-foodies from the area who know the ins and outs of their respective districts-those who join Taste Your Neighbourhood walks will learn about the history of each community directly from the mouths of its local culinary artisans. Participants will be introduced to hidden local gems and have the chance to experience the uniqueness of the city's neighbourhoods through their taste buds.

Yellow Pages Group's Taste Your Neighbourhood is a part of MUEC's People-friendly Streets 2013 program who brings together more than 60 local businesses and association representatives.
