Yorbeau Continues its Exploration Work on the Mineralized Corridor Extension of the Former Augmitto Deposit

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 8, 2006) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. (TSX:YRB.A) is pleased to provide the following update on its current drilling program which is continuing at its Rouyn property, on the Augmitto and Cinderella Blocks.

Based on the holes that have been drilled to date, it appears that the mineralized corridor of Yorbeau's Rouyn property comprising the gold bearing zones of the former Augmitto deposit extends to the east at depth. This sector has not been explored previously and it seems that the gold grade increases at depth. The drilling program is continuing and should allow us to confirm this.

The assay results from hole 06-S-413 have been completed and the intersection of the gold bearing zone returned a weighted grade of 26.02 g/t Au over 8.40 meters (0.75 oz/t Au over 27.55 feet).

This gold intersection corresponds without any doubt to the upper zone of the former Augmitto deposit and was intersected at a vertical depth of 505 meters (1,657 feet) from surface.

Another interesting gold bearing zone was intersected by hole 06-S-412A. It is located at 312 meters to the west (1,025 feet) of 06-S-413. This gold bearing zone also corresponds to the upper zone of the former Augmitto deposit and is located at a vertical depth of 425 meters (1,394 feet), 80 meters less than the equivalent zone of hole 06-S-413.

The assay results from hole 06-S-412A have been completed and the intersection of the gold bearing zone returned a weighted grade of 4.53 g/t Au over 12 meters (0.13 oz/t Au over 39.36 feet).
