Yorbeau Obtains Great Results From First Drill Targets at Lake Gamble

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 19, 2008) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. (TSX:YRB.A)("Yorbeau"') is pleased to report exciting results from six diamond drill holes on the Lake Gamble target of the Rouyn property.

Said Dr. Thomas L. Robyn, President and CEO of Yorbeau, "We have visible gold in six out of nine holes we have completed on the target, and good grades of gold in the assay results. We see the "nugget effect" in our sample results and are addressing this with additional assay methods. We are drilling a large and coherent body of auriferous silicified host rock, which bodes well for its economic potential."

Yorbeau's strategy of aggressive exploration of the12-km-long section of the Cadillac Break on its Rouyn property is yielding very positive results on the first of several high priority anomalies to be drilled.

The following table shows the results of the Lake Gamble target:

Drill hole 06-S-409 that was drilled in 2006 returned 11.64 g/t over 2.57 m (and shows visible gold) is on the same section as holes 457 and 458 (see accompanying map and longitudinal section). This section demonstrates that the gold zone extends to a depth of at least 600 m.

Two additional holes have been completed at Lake Gamble and a third one is being drilled. Visible gold was observed in both of these, as shown in the following table:

The Lake Gamble target was identified by a combination of a magnetic low, chargeability highs and moderate to high resistivity. The drill intervals reported above are from strongly silicified and quartz-veined portions of the Piche formation except where noted.

Next steps

With two drill rigs operating on the property, drilling of an additional 14 holes at Lake Gamble is underway with the objective of defining the strike length of the gold zone. Drilling of the Cinderella anomaly has been completed and a wide zone of silicified rock was encountered. The next target to be drilled is in the eastern portion of the Rouyn Property, the West Bouzan area, and a drill rig will be operational there shortly.

Samples are analyzed at Laboratoire Expert at Rouyn-Noranda and ALS-Chemex in Val-d'Or, Quebec. All samples are analysed by fire assay. Samples returning more than 3 g/t are redone by fire assay followed by gravimetric method. Samples returning more than 6 g/t and those with visible gold have their rejects analysed by metallic sieve method. Yorbeau has implemented a QA/QC program that consists of insertion of blanks and gold standards in batch samples being sent to the assaying laboratory. Selected pulp samples will also be re-analysed by a different laboratory.
