Yorbeau Specifies Potential of Two Gold Discoveries

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 11, 2009) - Yorbeau Resources Inc. (TSX:YRB.A)(hereinafter "Yorbeau" or the "Company") brings a corrective statement to its February 11, 2009 press release.

Information in the release of February 11 was not consistent with 43-101 requirements as the calculated tonnes, grade, and contained gold were not expressed as ranges. The information on the Company's Rouyn property can be summarized as follows.

Lac Gamble Target

The Company has completed an estimate of potential tonnes and grade at the Lac Gamble target based on a manual polygonal method, using polygons controlled by the locations of the drill holes where they penetrated the tabular, north-dipping Piche Group that has yielded a minimum conceptual gold deposit of 1.5 to 1.7 million tonnes at grades varying between 9 and 10 g/t Au and containing an estimated 500,000 to 525,000 ounces of gold.

Cinderella Target

The Company has also completed an estimate for the Cinderella target using the same method that yielded a minimum conceptual gold deposit of 250,000 to 270,000 tonnes at 15 to 16 g/t Au and containing an estimated 120,000 to 140,000 ounces of gold.

To date, the potential quantity and grade of the deposits at the Lac Gamble and Cinderella targets are conceptual in nature, there has been insufficient exploration to define the deposits as mineral resources, and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the deposits being delineated as mineral resources.

Thomas L. Robyn, Ph.D., CPG, RPG, President and CEO of the Company, is the Qualified Person responsible for the technical information hereinabove reported.

Astoria Resource Estimate

A mineral estimate prepared in 2005 by Eugene Puritch, P. Eng. of P&E Mining Consultants Inc. has demonstrated the following resources on the Company's Astoria block which is located approximately 800 m east of the Lac Gamble target:

- an undiluted, open-pit measured and indicated resource of 770,000 tonnes grading 2.57 grams of gold per tonne and an underground resource, in the same categories, of 1,970,000 tonnes grading 4.51 grams of gold per tonne for a total of 349,100 ounces of gold; and

- undiluted inferred resources of 14,000 tonnes grading 2.29 gram of gold per tonne amenable to open pit mining and of 385,000 tonnes grading 4.83 gram of gold per tonne amenable to underground mining, for another 60,800 ounces of gold.

The 43-101 resource report on the Astoria deposit of the Rouyn property of Yorbeau entitled "Open Pit and Underground Mineral Resource Estimate for the Astoria I Gold Project, Near Rouyn, Quebec" dated January 24, 2005 as amended on October 3, 2005 is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com and on Yorbeau's web page www.yorbeauresources.com.
