York Telecom Teams With DSCI to Win U.S. Army Technical, Engineering Support Services (TESS) Contract

The Team Is Supporting the Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC)

EATONTOWN, NJ--(Marketwire - August 18, 2009) - York Telecom Corporation, a leading global provider of visual communications services and solutions, today announced that they are a named vendor under DSCI on the Technical Engineering Support Services (TESS) Contract, which allows procurement for the U.S. Army CERDEC Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate. This is a five year contract ending in 2014 with a $900M ceiling.

DSCI is fulfilling the Army Materiel Command, Communications-Electronics Research and Development Engineering Command (CERDEC), requirement for operational, program management, technical, engineering, integration, prototype development and fabrication support services/products necessary for the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate. The DSCI TESS team is comprised of highly capable large and small teammates possessing solid service reputations and lengthy experience with the US Army in providing research, development and engineering services. The support services that York Telecom will be able to provide include technical engineering, program management, fabrication, operations and information system development.

To be a qualified vendor to DSCI under the TESS contract, York Telecom was able to exhibit the skill set necessary, including: operational and administration support, integrated logistic support, prototype fabrication and engineering support. The scope of the TESS contract will cover requirements and operational analyses, deployment and support of systems in the field, development of tools and systems in I2WD mission areas, support all elements of the Acquisition Cycle, and response to quick reaction requirements and situations.
