The Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area welcomes the Porsche Club of America and the Ferrari Club of America to the inaugural Yorkville Exotic Car Show presented by OnWall Solutions on July 10 2010. Toronto's most celebrated neighbourhood of style and culture will play host to an impressive display of highly coveted vehicles, in support of SickKids Foundation, including the Ferrari Enzo, 2009 Ferrari 16M, 1956 Porsche 356 Speedster, 1964 Porsche 356 SC Coupe, a Carrera GT and the 1996 Porsche GT1, one of only three in Canada and 17 in the world!

As part of the fundraising, individuals can participate by sponsoring a vehicle with proceeds going to SickKids Foundation, the fundraising organization for The Hospital for Sick Children, dedicated to investing in health and scientific advances in order to improve the lives of children and their families in Canada and around the world. A website has been set up at where anyone is welcome to bid on sponsoring a car. At the close of bidding, the final bidders will have their name listed on the website as a Bronze sponsor.

"As car enthusiasts, our members love these events and we always look to give back and raise money for charity," Phil Downe, director of Porsche Club of America, Upper Canada Region, Inc. and Founder of the event explains. "Our goal was to move the annual event off the golf course and make it more accessible for everyone."

"The Ferrari Club of America is very excited to be participating in the inaugural Yorkville Exotic Car Show and will be showing some of its most impressive cars," says Daniel O'Toole, Regional Director, Ferrari Club of America East and Central Region. "We look forward to capturing the public's imagination and encourage the sponsoring of a car in support of SickKids Foundation, to help children in need and their families realize their own hopes and dreams."

"Since the 60's, Bloor-Yorkville has drawn car enthusiasts to the neighbourhood as the area has always been a social meeting spot - a place to come and see and be seen," says Briar de Lange, General Manager of Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area. "Bloor-Yorkville is thrilled to be hosting this display of some of the world's most coveted vehicles and the fantastic opportunity it offers to raise funds and awareness for SickKids."

The event is open to the public free of charge compliments of venue sponsor, the Bloor-Yorkville BIA, Presenting sponsor OnWall Solutions, and Gold sponsors, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. and Ferrari Maserati of Ontario.

"We look forward to welcoming attendees from across the GTA to view the astounding array of vehicles that will be on display and we are proud to support SickKids' extremely important cause," says Ron Binder, President of OnWall Solutions.

Those coming to the area are reminded that Yorkville Avenue, Bellair Street and Cumberland Street are closed to traffic for the show, between Old York Lane and Bellair Street from 11:30 AM and 5:00 PM on July 10. Parking garages, located throughout the area, will provide ample parking availability.
