IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 9, 2011) - YouMail announced today that the company's Visual Voicemail Plus application for mobile devices has surpassed the three million organic downloads milestone, and can boast having had 75 million distinct callers interact with the company's service at one point or another.
Additionally, CrunchFund and the Tech Coast Angels ACE Fund have joined as investors in a recently completed funding round for YouMail, Inc. (www.youmail.com) -- a provider of cloud-based, enhanced telecommunications services. This brings total investment raised by YouMail since 2007 to nearly $13 million.
YouMail CEO Alex Quilici said the latest round of financing will allow the company to roll out several new, enhanced telecommunication services, and to both support and accelerate growth of Visual Voicemail Plus, the company's flagship product. The funding will assist in leveraging the YouMail platform for growth of the user base, and aid in the rapid deployment of additional applications and services for significant market share growth in the enhanced telecommunications market.
