Youngevity International (YGYI) Announces Caterina's Club as Youngevity Be the Change Foundation's Newest Charity

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 23, 2015) - Youngevity International, Inc. (OTCQX: YGYI) (www.YGYI.com), a global direct marketer of nutritional and lifestyle products and also a vertically-integrated producer of gourmet coffees for the commercial, retail and direct sales channels, announced today that its charitable giving arm, Youngevity Be the Change Foundation, has added Caterina's Club (Caterinasclub.org) as its latest 501(c )(3) charity.

Youngevity Be the Change Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was formed in September 2013 and has supported a number of very worthy charities since that time," stated Steve Wallach, Youngevity International's CEO and a Youngevity Be the Change Foundation Board Member. Mr. Wallach added, "We are so happy to announce that we have included Caterina's Club of Anaheim, California as a supported charity. Named in honor of Chef Sir Bruno Serato's mother, Caterina, Caterina's Club serves over 1,800 needy children a nutritionally balanced meal of freshly made pasta and vegetables each week. This amounts to over 24,000 meals monthly. To date, over 1 million meals have been generously donated and served. In addition, Chef Bruno has worked to help families break the cycle of poverty. Caterina's Club has assisted struggling families in the Los Angeles area by relocating them from motels to Section 8 housing. To date, 90 families consisting of 400 people have been relocated in service of this mission.

Chef Sir Bruno Serato has launched a worldwide campaign to fight hunger with his message "the power of pasta," a sustainable, affordable and nutritious source of energy. Chef Bruno Serato said, "I am immensely grateful for Youngevity Be the Change Foundation's generous contribution, and continued commitment toward advancing our mission. I would love to feed the hungry children all over the world, but first we must start here in our own backyard. Viva la pasta!"

Lisa Briskie, affectionately known as "Sunshine" to her family and the hundreds of thousands of distributors and customers who support the Foundation where she volunteers as the Director, said, "A call to action is one of our core tenants at Youngevity Be the Change Foundation and Caterina's Club provides an opportunity for any of our distributors and customers to emulate Chef Bruno's model and help feed and provide help for families in need in America. We are proud to stand with them. 2015 has been an active year for our foundation. We have donated to the American Red Cross with both monetary contributions and sweat equity by many of our distributors joining with them during their fire safety and smoke detector replacement campaign in the states of Oklahoma and Illinois, we have contributed to the Make A Wish Foundation, The Wounded Warrior Project, My Story Matters and we have reopened a school and daycare center on our plantations in Nicaragua. We look forward to becoming even more involved as together; we work to become The Change the World Needs in 2016."

"What makes the Youngevity Be The Change Foundation (Youngevitybethechange.org) unique is the Foundation is funded by the purchase of designated products, and Youngevity International generously donates 100% of the profit from these purchases to the Foundation," stated Dave Briskie, President of the Youngevity Be the Change Foundation and President and CFO of Youngevity International. He added, "I am so pleased that my wife, Youngevity's Employees and Distributors all volunteer and contribute so much to our Foundation and the charities it supports. I am proud of our new association with one of CNN's 2011 Top 10 Heroes, Chef Sir Bruno Serato and Caterina's Club."
