Yoyo Games Revolutionizes Developer Services With Unprecedented Monetization Options in GameMaker: Studio

Integrations With Industry-Leading Service Providers Makes Monetizing Games Hassle-Free for Developers

DUNDEE, SCOTLAND--(Marketwire - Aug 13, 2012) -  YoYo Games today announces that it has revolutionized the relationship between service providers and game developers by integrating an unprecedented number of monetization and analytics services into GameMaker: Studio, its cross-platform games development environment. Developers using GameMaker: Studio will now be able to access services directly from GameMaker: Studio's user interface, choose and deploy a monetization strategy and then export a game for publishing to worldwide "app stores," making the process of monetizing games more accessible, efficient and scalable than ever before. The free services upgrade will be available in GameMaker: Studio's 1.1 Update coming September 2012. This developer services functionality is being demonstrated for the first time, at The Game Developers Conference Europe August 13 and 14 at YoYo Games' booth, No. 160.

"The challenge associated with monetizing games is one of the biggest concerns facing developers," said Sandy Duncan, chief executive officer at YoYo Games.
