"With the largest interoperable HAN portfolio in the market, our members are providing compelling energy management solutions to consumers that are easy to install and control according to their personal needs and preferences," said Raoul Wijgergangs, chairman of the Z-Wave Alliance. "Our presence this year at DistribuTECH is a testament to the growing success of Z-Wave's ecosystem of more than 350 interoperable products. Z-Wave provides an end-to-end solution that empowers the homeowner to wirelessly manage energy consumption by controlling specific devices in the home such as lighting, thermostats, appliances and home entertainment systems from anywhere in the world via a PC or smartphone. The Z-Wave certification process is extensive and those products that achieve certification can be identified by the Z-Wave logo on their packaging. All Z-Wave certified products are interoperable, making it easy to build a Z-Wave HAN.
