Zacuto's Long Awaited Z-Finder EVF Now Available for Purchase

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - May 11, 2011) - Zacuto USA is happy to announce the release of their long awaited Z-Finder EVF. Since the introduction of DSLR cameras into the digital filmmaking world, things have drastically changed.

"A high quality, reliable EVF has been the number one tool missing in my HDDSLR toolkit since these cameras came out. Zacuto's EVF is feature packed and allows me to operate these cameras as I would with traditional cameras for the first time -- and that's a really great thing," says Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Vincent Laforet.

The Z-Finder EVF will not only work with DSLR cameras but is also compatible with any camera that uses an HDMI output including the Panasonic AG-AF100, Sony FS100, Sony F3, Scarlet, Red One and Epic. The Z-Finder EVF is sure to be a frontrunner in the electronic monitoring game for DSLR and single chip camera shooters.

"I am really impressed with the EVF build and screen quality, it's really well thought out. The speed in which the Zacuto EVF handles the resolution switch when you hit record on the 5DmkII is so impressive. Other monitors I've used take an age to do that. I'm really not quite sure how I lived without an EVF like this on my 5DmkII," says shooter Dan Chung.

The Z-Finder EVF's features include 800x480 resolution, a 3.2" display, custom image scaling, focus assist, exposure assist, an HDMI loop through and much more. This new camera accessory is designed to enhance stability, give you better resolution, enable low-mode shooting, shorten your camera package and allow the shooter to get his or her eye into a position comfortable for shooting. The Z-Finder EVF will work with all pre-existing Z-finder models. Z-Finders can either snap onto the EVF or flip-up and out of the way of the LCD screen depending on your preference. All electronic viewfinders kits include a standard hotshoe EVF mount, HDMI cable, rechargeable battery, battery charger, lens cloth and protection case.
