The Extreme Racing 2 game widget is free and does not require Zango's desktop advertising software. The widget is instead advertising-supported through a Zango text link -- "More Cool Games" -- at the start and finish of each game.

Extreme Racing 2, which tests a player's ability to drive as accurately and quickly as possible along a sunny California highway, has been played more than two million times during the past six months, according to Ultimate Arcade Empire. The sequel to Ultimate Arcade Empire's wildly popular Extreme Racing game challenged the company's engineers and developers, who sought to enhance the original game by adding 3D elements.
