Zango to Participate in 10th Annual Congressional Internet Caucus Kickoff Reception and Technology Exhibition

Zango Will Demonstrate Desktop Advertising Software and Its Industry-Leading Notice, Consent and Uninstallation Best Practices

BELLEVUE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 31, 2007 -- Zango, an online media company, is one of a very select number of demonstrating companies in tonight's 10th Annual Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee Kickoff Reception and Technology Exhibition in Washington, D.C. In addition to showcasing the latest Internet technologies through interactive demonstrations, the event will highlight some of the key issues that may drive policymaking in the 110th Congress.

As one of approximately two dozen "major companies and innovators" selected to participate, Zango will demonstrate its industry-leading desktop advertising software, pre-installation plain-language notice and express consent procedure, and easy uninstallation. Consumers who install Zango software are able to access and enjoy for free more than 100,000 pieces of Web content and entertainment, including sought-after online videos, games, music, tools and utilities.

"We're pleased to have the opportunity to demonstrate our desktop advertising software and user-empowering practices that set the standard for the online downloadable software industry," said Ken McGraw, executive vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer of Zango. "The Internet Caucus is an important event and a perfect place to showcase our software and how users interact with that software."

The Technology Exhibition runs from 5-7 p.m. EST in the Hart Senate Building, Room 902. Zango's McGraw and Gregg Beretta, director of industry affairs, will both be on hand to present a 10-minute multi-media demonstration of the software and Zango's best practices and to answer questions.

The Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee is a diverse group of public interest, non-profit, and industry groups working to educate Congress and the public about important Internet-related policy issues. For more information, please visit
