ZENN Motor Company Expands Retailer Development Efforts: Appoints Northrup and Burmeister to Lead Network Growth

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 27, 2007) - ZENN Motor Company (TSX VENTURE:ZNN), a leading electric vehicle manufacturing company, has added Vicki Northrup and Eric Burmeister as Regional Sales Managers to drive further retailer expansion efforts across the US. Primary responsibilities will be to develop and engage a retailer network for ZENN's electric low speed vehicle (LSV) which was launched into the US late in 2006.

Leading the Midsouth and Southeast expansion for ZENN Motor Company, Ms. Northrup's extensive electric vehicle background includes involvement in the launch of the TH!NK Mobility products when she joined Ford Motor Company in 2001, and prior to that, she worked with Bombardier to launch their Neighborhood Electric Vehicle in the late 1990s. During her time at Ford, Vicki was responsible for dealer development, training, marketing and consumer awareness. In conjunction with the New York Power Authority, Vicki was credited for launching the single largest EV project then in the U.S., the Clean Commute Program in 2002, which incorporated over 150 electric vehicles.

Mr. Burmeister brings nine years of electric vehicle experience to ZENN Motor Company and will head up the Company's retailer growth efforts across the Western U.S.. Eric's most recent appointment was as District Sales Manager (DSM) with Global Electric Motors (GEM), an international electric vehicle company where he was responsible for the expansion and enablement of their dealer network. As one of GEM's leading DSMs, Mr. Burmeister has a proven track record of sales objective achievement.

Ms. Northrup holds a Bachelors degree in Business from Barry University in Miami and an MBA from Baker College in Michigan.
