Zenprise Acquires French Mobile Management Company to Accelerate European Growth and Extend Architecture to Manage & Secure Mobile Applications

Sparus Software Acquisition Brings European-Specific Compliance and Management Capabilities; Support for Line of Business Mobile Applications

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - October 25, 2010) -  Zenprise, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise mobile management and mobile device management software, today announced it has acquired Sparus Software, a French-based company specializing in managing, securing and remotely deploying line of business applications used by everything from smartphones and smartpads to card readers and scanners. Sparus Software enables Zenprise to reinforce its sales and marketing footprint in Europe with in-country customer technical support. The acquisition represents Zenprise's commitment to becoming the leader in global mobile device management, and follows the company's $9 million round of funding announced in June.
