Zerofootprint VELO Software Wins Two Top Apps4ClimateAction Awards

VELO Awarded Best Overall App and Best Web App in Forward-Thinking Contest to Channel the Creativity of Software Developers in the Fight Against Climate Change

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 5, 2010) - Zerofootprint, a leading organization in the global fight against climate change, has been awarded Best Overall App and Best Web App for its VELO software as part of the Apps4ClimateAction (A4CA) Contest. The contest challenged Canadian software developers to raise awareness of climate change and inspire action to reduce carbon pollution by using data from the B.C. Environment Ministry's Climate Change Data Catalogue in new applications for web and mobile devices.
