With this certification, Zettaset has completed a detailed evaluation and test process with MapR Converged Data Platform, ensuring that sensitive data-in-motion and data-at-rest is protected with fine-grained, role-based access control. Zettaset BDEncrypt Plus will interoperate and provide joint customers with an enterprise-class encryption software solution that is optimized for scalability and performance in Big Data environments.
BDEncrypt Plus provides the ideal data-centric security solution for scale-out Hadoop environments. BDEncrypt Plus not only encrypts data, but protects the integrity of that encrypted data by preventing tampering with access control lists (ACLs) and alerting database administrators if unauthorized access to encrypted data occurs.
