Ziehm Imaging Wins Prestigious iF Design Award 2016

NUREMBERG, GERMANY--(Marketwired - Feb 25, 2016) -   Ziehm Imaging has received the prestigious iF Design Award for Ziehm Vision RFD 3D in the category medicine / healthcare. Designed for intraoperative 3D imaging for orthopedics, traumatology and spinal surgery, Ziehm Vision RFD 3D was selected for its streamlined design and flexibility which enhances the system's ease of use. The high-end mobile C-arm provides outstanding 3D image quality and can be easily transported from one OR to another.

New dimension in 3D imaging
Ziehm Vision RFD 3D is the world's only mobile 3D C-arm with flat-panel technology that provides a 16 cm edge length per scan volume. It combines 2D and 3D functionality to offer maximum ease-of-use. Innovative flat-panel design eases the set-up and positioning at the OR table. The Ziehm Imaging flagship system combines a 25 kW generator with iterative reconstruction algorithm and patented SmartScan rotation to allow 3D image information with CT-like reconstructions of any anatomical structure. Featuring a compact design the system allows high mobility and flexible OR planning.
