Zimpost Is the Leading Provider Of Postal, Communications, and Financial Services in Zimbabwe

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 16, 2011) - Zimpost's footprint and network within retail, advertising, financial and agency services gives the company a distinct competitive advantage according to Douglas Zimbango, Managing Director (MD). Zimpost has also established partnerships with several companies in Zimbabwe in order to broaden its range of services available. As well as being an outlet for the People's Own Savings Bank, Zimpost is also the sole licensing agent for the Zimbabwe National Roads Authority. Zimpost also works closely with three mobile companies in Zimbabwe and sells air time to customers on their behalf.

"We have tried to create a one-stop-shop where people who come into the post office to pay their vehicle license can also purchase insurance products and other services," says Zimbango.

Zimpost has also recently signed an agreement with a mobile phone company which will increase the company's customer reach according to Zimbango. "They are one of the largest mobile phone companies in the country with a subscriber base of about 5.5 million. So we have the opportunity to move a lot of money in Zimbabwe with this customer," he reveals.
