Zincore Announces Interim CEO

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2009) - Zincore Metals Inc. (TSX:ZNC) ("Zincore" or the "Company") announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Jorge Benavides as Interim President and CEO, effective immediately. Mr. Benavides, a geologist with more than thirty years in the mining industry, is also Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Hochschild Mining plc.

The Board has commenced a process to identify CEO candidates for a permanent leadership appointment.
