ZirMed® Achieves CORE Phase I Certification

LOUISVILLE, KY--(Marketwire - September 28, 2010) -  ZirMed, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions, announced today that it has achieved Phase I certification from the CAQH Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE). ZirMed earned the CORE Phase I certification after an authorized testing vendor confirmed that ZirMed was operating in accordance with the CORE Phase I standards.

Through CORE, CAQH is working to give providers consistent access to patient coverage information from any participating vendor. With the CORE Phase I certification, providers are guaranteed real-time access to a number of key eligibility and benefits data. This will decrease administrative costs, help providers meet patient expectations, improve financial measures and increase satisfaction among patients and staff.
