Zoomdata Delivers Its AnyCloud Initiative Through CenturyLink's Cloud Marketplace

New Product Integration Allows CenturyLink Customers to Join and Visualize Data Between Private and Public Clouds, Including Both Big Data and Traditional Data Stores

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 1, 2015) - Zoomdata, developers of the world's fastest visual analytics solution for big data, today announced its participation in the CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program, which allows users of CenturyLink Cloud to launch a Zoomdata server directly from CenturyLink's Blueprints library.

With this announcement, Zoomdata extends its AnyCloud initiative to include CenturyLink, which has a large global cloud footprint and expertise running cloud at scale. Zoomdata fuses big data with traditional data stores and process analytics in near real-time, regardless of the data type or its physical location.

Zoomdata's patented smart connectors can combine and analyze data from multiple sources without moving or copying the data from the original sources. For example, users can leverage Zoomdata Fusion to virtually join transactional Big Data with customer or other dimensional data stored in a traditional relational database or data warehouse, to calculate metrics combining a new Big Data source with metrics from an existing enterprise data warehouse, or to correlate real-time data feeds with historical data across backend platforms.

The CenturyLink Cloud Marketplace Provider Program allows participating technology companies like Zoomdata to integrate with the CenturyLink Cloud platform. Zoomdata offers complimentary 30-day trials of the service and the option to purchase a license. Key capabilities and benefits to CenturyLink customers include:

  • Launching Zoomdata Blueprints from the CenturyLink Cloud portal;
  • Accessing Prebuilt connectors for Cloudera, Spark, MongoDB, Solr, SQLServer and MySQL;
  • Enabling queries to be run across multiple data sources, across public and private CenturyLink clouds with Zoomdata Fusion;
  • Delivering distributed analytics, including between on-premise and in the cloud with Zoomdata-to-Zoomdata connectivity;
  • Making Zoomdata cloud channel packages available to certified CenturyLink partners with free training programs, low-cost developer licenses and support for delivering packaged services and support.

"As large enterprises increasingly turn to the cloud to manage a combination of big data, relational data, real-time and historical data, the need for a visual analytics application that can access multiple data sources and structures without incurring significant engineering and infrastructure costs has become a critical component of these deployments," said Russ Cosentino, vice president of Channels at Zoomdata. "For customers who want to leverage the cloud for a big data deployment, CenturyLink and Zoomdata are a winning combination."

"Integrating disparate data assets into one common exploration framework is a foundational business intelligence problem that is top-of-mind for many enterprise CIOs," said David Shacochis, vice president of cloud platform at CenturyLink. "CenturyLink makes it easy to get started with data management solutions, and the addition of Zoomdata to our Cloud Marketplace Provider Program adds strong data visualization capabilities to customers of our Hybrid IT solutions."
