ZoomerMedia Limited Announces First Quarter Financial Results

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2009) - ZoomerMedia Limited (TSX VENTURE:ZUM), a leader in serving the interests of the 45+ "Zoomer" market, through the publication of ZOOMER magazine and its suite of websites, including www.50plus.com, today announced financial results for the first quarter ended September 30, 2009.

First Quarter Results

For the three months ended September 30, 2009, the Company had revenues of $2.3 million and expenses of $3.3 million with a net loss after tax of $803,365. These results are in line with the Company's business plan for 2010 as it invests in the development of ZOOMER magazine and accompanying Zoomer-branded websites, to ensure that the Company maximizes its share of the growing media expenditures anticipated in 2010 and beyond aimed at the aging baby boomer cohort, the Zoomers. For the comparable quarter ended September 30, 2008, the Company had revenues of $2.5 million and expenses of $3.7 million with a net loss after tax of $838,479.
