ZQGame Jumps Into Mobile -- With $12 Million in Marketing

EL SEGUNDO, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 13, 2013) - ZQGame, a leading publicly traded online game company from China, has kicked off its mobile publishing business in the western market. The company has five new mobile titles set to release on Apple's App Store and Google Play before the end of this year. In anticipation of its coming games, ZQGame has planned a significant investment of $12 million to promote and market the games in western markets such as North America, Europe, Russia, and more.

Over the past three years, ZQGame has achieved a great deal of success after developing and co-publishing browser/client-based games in both Asia and North America. Now riding upon that momentum, ZQGame's headquarters in China has gone to great lengths to acquire two high-profile mobile game companies, both which have developed and published games with early and storied histories in the space. In addition, ZQGame's US team has announced its initiative to build upon new and existing partnerships while searching for the acquisition of more mobile products to publish in 2014.

Out of the five upcoming mobile titles, three are from partnered developers. The first to be launched amongst them is Pocket Knights, a free-to-play card battle strategy game, which was recently released on the Canada App Store and reached No.1 in the Card Games category. The game is soon to be launched in the US on both iOS and Android devices with a significant marketing commitment. Tower Tribes is the second upcoming co-published title. Developed by Tencent -- the third-largest Internet Company in the world behind Google and Amazon -- Tower Tribes is a hybrid tower defense and strategy game that has reached the top mobile gaming charts in China. The last of the three ZQ is co-publishing is the Korean Game of the Year, Sky Boom Boom, a casual endless runner produced by Korean developer KNETP. The last two games from ZQGame are self-developed titles, one which is Infinity Clash, a mid-core strategy game and Soulstone Heroes, a hardcore card battle RPG. Overall, these titles are meant to support ZQGame's ambitious first steps into the international mobile space.
