Zywave Launches New OSHA Violations Database for Partners

Zywave's OSHA Violations Database Provides Partners With a Complete Listing of Employers That Are Subject to Fines Due to OSHA Violations

MILWAUKEE, WI --(Marketwired - April 28, 2016) - Zywave, a leading provider of software solutions for insurance brokers, announced the launch of Zywave's OSHA Violations Database today. The new tool is a comprehensive listing of all employers who have incurred fines due to OSHA violations.

"It's being reported that OSHA penalties will increase by 80 percent in 2016," said Andrew Pease, senior market analyst at Zywave. "Many of our partners are looking for ways to identify which of their clients are subject to penalties so they can help remedy the problem and offer meaningful solutions. Our OSHA Violations Database not only offers our partners an easy way to pinpoint which of their clients are being penalized, it goes a step further and provides specific recommendations for which Broker Briefcase® resources the partner should use to help solve the problem that led to the violation. This is an incredibly powerful tool in terms of brokers being able to proactively deliver value to clients."

Zywave's OSHA Violations Database
The database tool is state-specific, and includes company names, a listing of specific violations dating back to 2013, proposed OSHA penalty amounts, and recommended resources within Broker Briefcase to address each violation. FAQs and Help documentation are built into the tool, providing partners with easy-to-understand instructions on how to use and navigate through the database. Partners can search for employers by company name, state, city, zip code, NAICS codes, specific regulation or penalty, and date of violation.

"As the market changes, we continually look for new ways to support our partners and help them meet increasing client demands," said Dave O'Brien, Zywave's CEO. "80 percent of insurance buyers say it's important that their broker provide them with OSHA compliance information and recordkeeping tools. Many brokers want to meet this need, but face challenges when trying to find a way to actually execute. Our new OSHA Violations Database, paired with Broker Briefcase content, enables brokers to address unique compliance pain points with a multitude of turnkey OSHA-specific resources."

The OSHA Violations Database is provided exclusively through Zywave, and available to partners with the Broker Briefcase Property & Casualty edition.
