Dome9 Launches Channel Program to Meet Enterprise Demand for Verifiable Public Cloud Security

Key Deal Inked with Westcon-Comstor to Extend Dome9's Global Enterprise Market Expansion

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - May 18, 2017) - Dome9 Security, the leader in cloud infrastructure security, today announced its channel program, the Dome9 Cloud Protection Partner Program, to meet the growing demand for the Dome9 Arc cloud security platform. The program will be led by Jim Sortino, who was recently hired by Dome9 as vice president of worldwide sales and operations. The company also signed a key partnership agreement with Westcon-Comstor, a worldwide value-added distributor, to continue Dome9's global expansion into the enterprise market.

The Dome9 Arc SaaS platform allows customers to simplify security operations and speed up compliance in their public and multi-cloud environments. Dome9 is the only cloud orchestration solution that offers a full range of features and capabilities, from powerful security visualization and in-place remediation, to active enforcement and protection. The solution can be installed in a matter of minutes and requires no agents to be deployed. With the announcement of the Dome9 Cloud Protection Partner Program, Dome9 is building a robust channel ecosystem to continue to meet the pressing needs of enterprise customers running workloads in public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Sortino is a technology industry veteran with more than 20 years selling network security solutions. Prior to joining Dome9, Jim oversaw the western operations at Trend Micro and was responsible for strategy and development of enterprise sales, field marketing and the channel. Most recently, Jim has held sales leadership positions at Application Security and Entrust.

Westcon-Comstor is a value-added distributor of category-leading security, infrastructure, and unified communications solutions with a global network of specialty partners. This partnership extends Westcon-Comstor the right to distribute the Dome9 Arc solution for network security, privileged account management and compliance and governance to resellers worldwide under its brand; Westcon-Comstor will launch this service to its AWS partners in APAC first. Westcon-Comstor AWS resellers in this region that have AWS certifications can provision the Dome9 solution through Westcon-Comstor's BlueSky Cloud and Service Management Platform.
